a word from james

“Hi, I’m James!

I look like a typical white Brooklyn dude with glasses BUT I’m a huge nerd for making the perfect image for your project. I’ll be honest, I would probably love to shoot your short/feature/music video/commercial/sketch/content (I will love you equally if it’s a vertical project), and I want to make it work at your budget level.

I love things like looking at paintings for inspiration on how to compose and light a scene, but everything I shoot deserves to be tailored specifically to the story and to your goals as a Director.

I love the nuance of perfectly wrapped natural lighting as well as the occasional expressiveness of hard light. Ultimately, my style changes to fit your project, but know that I approach everything with as much preparation and precision as possible to deliver your own perfectly composed, exposed, and colored deliverable.

Excited to make something really cool together.”
